For humans, “metamorphosis”can be understood not only as a biological process, such as the uncontrolled proliferation of cancer cells or the alteration of bodily functions, but also as an existential phenomenon. It reflects the constant flux of our existence, where transformation embodies both the potential for renewal and the inevitability of decay, challenging our perception of identity, continuity, and the impermanence of life itself.This project examines the interplay between mutation and the human body, utilizing abstract forms derived from biological anomalies—such as tumors, hyperplasia, deformities, and insect metamorphosis—to reinterpret and reshape the human form. It is an experimental endeavor that challenges traditional concepts of garment construction and form.
